Martyn Ford

Conductor, Arranger, Musician and Broadcaster

Martyn Ford is a conductor with an international reputation having conducted major symphony orchestras on three continents - Europe, North America and Africa. Martyn is as much at home conducting the symphonic repertoire, as he is the popular classics, "Last Night Of The Proms", Viennese Concerts and Opera, Light or Grand. He is as likely to be found working in a concert hall as outdoors, in a theatre as in studios - where he records music for advertising, film and television sound-tracks as the Principal Conductor of The London TeleFilmonic Orchestra, London's premier commercial session orchestra, and market leader in high quality orchestral session music.

Martyn has conducted and written arrangements for the World's greatest Rock Icons - The Rolling Stones, Sir Elton John, Sir Paul McCartney, Phil Collins, Bryan Ferry, Sir Cliff Richard, The Who, Johnny Nash, Lou Reed, Marc Bolan, Bob Marley, Kate Bush, Led Zeppelin, Toto, Harry Nilsson, The Grateful Dead and many more (see Discography).
